Form Painting

During class, this project felt like I would never get it right.  The box I created was disproportional, and the colors only made it worse. As you can see...not my best work. 

I decided to start over from scratch and really focus to get it right.  I went very slowly and the project took me almost three hours to complete.  With each shape, I made a layer for the outline of the shape and a layer for the colors.  This made it a lot easier to erase and keep the shape because I wasn't erasing the original lining.

I'd like to learn how to blend the colors better but overall I think my final project was a huge improvement from my first attempt and after the first two shapes i really felt like i was getting the hang of it.
